Football league season
The 2023–24 Liga 2 (Indonesia) (also known as the 2023–24 Pegadaian Liga 2 for sponsorship reasons)[1] was the seventh edition of the Liga 2 under its current name and the 14th edition under its current league structure. PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) are responsible for administrating the league. Plans to change Liga 2's operator were shelved for this season and will be postponed to at least the 2024–2025 season.[2][3]
As Liga 2's previous season and 2022–23 Liga 3 were abandoned due to a combination of factors with the most notable among them being the Kanjuruhan Stadium disaster,[4] participants of the league remain unchanged from last season, 28 teams (an increase of four teams from the 2021–22 Liga 2 season).[5][6] The new season also marked the return of foreign players to the second division of Indonesian football.[6]
The league format was announced on 16 August 2023.[7] The season started on 10 September 2023.[8]
As the 2022–23 Liga 2 and 2022–23 Liga 3 were abandoned along with the relegation rule which was being scrapped from 2022–23 Liga 1, the league's teams remain unchanged. The following teams changed division after the 2021 season.

The twelve teams that advanced from the preliminary round were divided into 3 groups of four teams to play home-and-away round-robin matches.
Three group winners and the one best runner-up advanced to the knockout round.

In the knockout round, the 4 teams that advanced from championship round played against each other over two legs on a home-and-away basis. The champions, runner-up and third place of 2023–24 Liga 2 will be promoted to 2024–25 Liga 1.

Malut United won 3–2 on aggregate and promoted to 2024–25 Liga 1.

PSSI, for the first time since 2014, allowed second division teams to sign foreign players after prohibiting clubs to register them for the past six editions. For this Liga 2 season, clubs were allowed to register two foreign players per team (with one of them coming from a member association of the AFC).[6][102]
The schedule of the competition is as follows.
A total of 28 teams will be drawn into 4 groups of seven teams based on the geographical location of their homebase. The preliminary round will be played in home-and-away round-robin matches.

Liga Juara-Juara AFC 2023–24 akan menjadi edisi ke-42 kejohanan bola sepak kelab utama Asia yang dianjurkan oleh Konfederasi Bola Sepak Asia (AFC), dan edisi ke-21 jika di bawah gelaran semasa Liga Juara-Juara AFC.
Musim ini adalah yang pertama mempunyai jadual antara tahun dari September (musim luruh hingga musim bunga) dan bukannya jadual antara tahun (musim bunga hingga musim luruh) sejak musim 2002–03.[2] Edisi kali ini menyaksikan pertambahan bilangan pemain awal dengan 35 pemain boleh didaftarkan; pasukan akan dapat menurunkan enam pemain asing dalam permainan, di mana salah seorang pemain ini mestilah dari negara Asia yang lain.
Pemenang kejohanan akan layak secara automatik ke Liga Juara-Juara AFC 2024–25, memasuki peringkat play-off kelayakan, jika mereka tidak layak melalui prestasi domestik mereka.[3]
47 ahli persatuan AFC yang diletakkan berdasarkan prestasi pasukan kelab itu sepanjang empat tahun terakhir dalam kejohanan AFC (Kedudukan Dunia FIFA pasukan kebangsaan mereka tidak lagi dipertimbangkan).[4] Slot diperuntukkan dengan kriteria berikut mengikut Penyertaan Manual:[5]
Untuk Liga Juara-Juara AFC 2023–24, persatuan diperuntukkan slot mengikut kedudukan persatuan mereka yang diterbitkan pada 24 November 2021,[8][9][10] yang mengambil kira prestasi mereka dalam Liga Juara-Juara AFC dan Piala AFC dalam tempoh antara 2013 dan 2021 dan liga domestik mereka.[a]
Dalam jadual berikut, jumlah penampilan dan penampilan terakhir hanya diambil dari musim 2002-03 (termasuk pusingan kelayakan), ketika kejohanan ini dijenamakan semula sebagai Liga Juara-Juara AFC.

Dalam play-off kelayakan, setiap padanan dimainkan sebagai satu perlawanan. masa tambahan dan penalti digunakan untuk menentukan pemenang jika perlu.[15] Gambaran play-off kelayakan untuk setiap wilayah ditentukan berdasarkan kedudukan persatuan setiap pasukan dan pengagihan mereka dalam persatuan mereka, dengan pasukan dari kedudukan persatuan tertinggi menjadi tuan rumah perlawanan. Untuk setiap zon, pasukan diagihkan ke dalam empat balang dan ditarik ke posisi yang relevan dalam setiap kumpulan, berdasarkan pada Kedudukan persatuan mereka dan pengagihan mereka dalam persatuan mereka, dengan mempertimbangkan keseimbangan teknikal antara kumpulan. Pasukan dari persatuan yang sama tidak dapat dimasukkan ke dalam kumpulan yang sama.
Pada peringkat kumpulan, setiap kumpulan dimainkan perlawanan kumpulan secara timbal balik di tempat sendiri dan tempat lawan. Juara kumpulan dan tiga naib juara terbaik mara ke peringkat kalah mati.

Dalam peringkat kalah mati, 16 pasukan memainkan kejohanan penyingkiran tunggal, dengan pasukan berpecah kepada dua kawasan sehingga perlawanan akhir. Setiap pertemuan dimainkan di tempat sendiri dan tempat lawan secara timbal balik. Masa tambahan dan penalti digunakan untuk menentukan pemenang jika perlu (perhatikan bahawa peraturan gol tempat lawan telah dimansuhkan) (Peraturan Perkara 10.1).[17] Susunan perlawanan (tempat sendiri lwn tempat lawan) ditentukan semasa undian, kecuali perlawanan akhir. Perlawanan akhir telah ditentukan secara bergilir-gilir, dengan perlawanan akhir pertama akan dianjurkan oleh pasukan dari wilayah Timur. Perlawanan yang dipasangkan akan ditentukan pada acara undian tunggal, yang dibuat pada 28 Disember 2023.
Dalam pusingan 16, juara setiap kumpulan menentang naib juara kumpulan lain dari rantau yang sama, dengan juara kumpulan menjadi tuan rumah perlawanan kedua.
Suku akhir pertama akan dimainkan pada 4, 5 dan 6 Mac, dan suku akhir kedua akan dimainkan pada 11, 12 dan 13 Mac 2024.
Separuh akhir pertama akan dimainkan pada 16 dan 17 April, dan separuh akhir kedua akan dimainkan pada 23 dan 24 April 2024.

The 16 teams that advanced from the second round were divided into 4 groups of four teams to play single round-robin matches. Matches in this round are held at neutral venues.
4 group winners and 4 runners-up will advance to the fourth round.
The draw for third round was held on 17 May 2024. The 16 teams were drawn into four groups.
The following draw mechanism is applied: 1. The 16 teams seeded into two pots based on their performance in second round. Pot 1 contains the group winners and pot 2 contains the runners-up teams of the second round. 2. The teams were drawn into 4 groups. Each group contains two teams from pot 1 and two teams from pot 2.

Football tournament season
The 2023–24 Liga 3 Jakarta (also known as 2023–24 Liga 3 Jakarta Governor's Cup for sponsorship reason) is the fourth edition of Liga 3 Jakarta organized by Asprov PSSI Jakarta.[1]
Batavia are the defending champion after winning it in the 2021.[2]
2023–24 Liga 3 Jakarta was attended by 13 teams.
National Phase (Fourth Round)
The 8 teams that advanced from the Third round were divided into 2 groups of four teams to play single round-robin matches.
2 group winners will advance to the final. The top three teams from each group will be promoted to the 2024–25 Liga 2.
All matches will be held at Benteng Reborn Stadium and DM Sport Ciledug, Tangerang.

The 2 group winners from the fourth round will play in the final match. The final will be played as a single match.[47] If tied after regulation time, extra time and, if necessary, a penalty shoot-out will be used to decide the winning team.

A total of 80 teams will be drawn into 16 groups of 5 teams. The preliminary round will be played in single round-robin matches.
16 group winners and 16 runners-up will advance to the second round.
The draw was held online via the official PSSI youtube channel on 26 March 2024.[46] 80 teams divided into 5 zones based on their geographical location. However, 2 teams then decided to withdrew ahead of the national phase.
The following draw mechanism is applied: 1. The 16 host teams are seeded and automatically drawn sequentially into groups A–P. 2. The draw started with zone 1 and ended with zone 5. 3. Teams from the same zone cannot be drawn into the same group.
